US Government Contracting firm – just won a contract to provide support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for support services, including construction management. Immediate openings for the following positions in Huntsville, AL on a five year contract.
– Entry Level Construction Project Managers (3 each): 3 years construction experience required, working towards a degree or a professional certification in construction management. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture form NAAB accredited University, or Engineering Degree from ABET accredited University in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering preferred. Must possess KSAs in OSHA certification, project scheduling, and document control. Must have or be eligible for a US Government SECRET Security Clearance.
– Mid Level Construction Project Managers (3 each): 5 year construction management experience with degree, or 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree. Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from NAAB accredited University, or Engineering Degree from ABET accredited University in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering strongly preferred. Must have KSA in OSHA certification, project scheduling, and document control. Experience with industry related software including but not limited to Microsoft Project, Primavera, AutoCADD, Revit, Prolog, etc. Certification as a PMP, PE, CCM, AIA, or RA desirable. Must have or be eligible for a US Government SECRET Security Clearance.
– Cost Estimator (1 each): Bachelor’s in economics, mathematics, building science, statistics, construction management, accounting, finance, or engineering. 10 years experience as a construction planner/scheduler. Industry certifications as a CCP, EVP, PSP, or PMI-SP desired. Possess KSAs in price trends, regulations, building construction and trades, and using industry related software. Must possess or be eligible for a US Government Secret Security Clearance.
– Project Scheduler (1 each): Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field. 10 years experience. Working knowledge of construction processes related to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Possess KSAs in critical path analysis, planning and scheduling techniques, risk analysis, and risk management in support of project objectives. Possess or eligible for US Government Secret Security Clearance.
