Welcome!

Welcome to the web site for the Huntsville Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). ASCE recently celebrated its 150th anniversary, and is America’s oldest engineering society. ASCE’s vision is to position engineers as global leaders building a better quality of life. To learn more about the ASCE, please visit www.asce.org. This branch web site is designed to be a portal for information to reach our 140+ members.  Please feel free to email me with any questions regarding local ASCE participation or with any feedback for our web site.

By-Law Changes:

The Huntsville Branch currently has in place a constitution and by-laws that were last revised in 1981.  In our July Meeting the membership created a By-Laws Update Committee to review the existing document and update it.  The Committee will present the new By-Laws to the membership at an upcoming branch meeting for approval.  Once the By-Laws are approved they will have to be voted on by the Alabama Section at the Winter Meeting to be held in Tuscaloosa, February 19th at Hotel Capstone.  Below is a link to a copy of our current Constitution and By-Laws.  We would like to hear any feedback from our current members.  If you have any comments and/or suggestions please email them to bbailey@4siteinc.biz.
